Last month I was giving you details about the process I’m following when working on SEO campaigns as I was negotiating a big contract.

The good news is : I won the contract!

The bad news now… I can’t say who is the client! I signed a NDA and although I’m dying to tell everyone the company’s name, I’m a good secret keeper…

The only things I’m allowed to say are:

  • it’s a Fortune 500 company
  • it’s a camera manufacturer
  • you all know the brand
  • you may have or have had a camera from this brand

That’s it! No need to ask for additional details, I won’t say one more word
I just have to start working silently for the next 6 months… :-)

I’m currently discussing the opportunity to realize an international SEO campaign for a Fortune500 company and thought many business owners would find it useful to understand what are the different steps for such a project. I won’t go into details of each phase but at least you can have a great overview of what needs to be done.

  • Phase 0 – Strategy
  • Phase I – Keyword Research
  • Phase II – On-Page SEO Diagnostic
  • Phase III – Local SEO Optimization
  • Phase IV – Meta Tags Optimization
  • Phase V – Algorithmic Optimization
  • Phase VI – Content Optimization
  • Phase VI – Global Navigation Optimization
  • Phase VIII – Link Acquisition
  • Phase IX – Directory Submission
  • Phase X – On-going Optimization

Keep in mind that SEO shouldn’t be done in a month but spread over time to look more natural to search engines. A good campaign should be consiedered for at least 6 months. Then improvements can be performed after analysis of what has been achieved.
